Dennis Paltos
Dennis Paltos

Dennis was admitted as a solicitor on 11 May 1979 in the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the High Court of Australia and has worked in the legal profession in excess of 44 years as a litigation lawyer.

Dennis has practised exclusively in family law and related areas since the early 1980s and has significant experience in commercial matters as well as being able to assist clients in resolving a wide range of complex issues in the context of family law, de facto relationship settlements, same sex relationships, and children.

As a result of this expertise, Dennis has a sound reputation in both litigation and negotiation, especially in resolving disputes for clients where their business and property dealings are complex and involve companies and trusts, and particularly where there are disputes regarding the welfare of children.

In 1992, Dennis was amongst the first group of lawyers to be accredited as a family law specialist by the Law Society of New South Wales.

Dennis has represented high profile clients in the preparation of financial agreements as well as for third party companies and trusts in family law disputes, and represented parties in reported Family Court decisions including valuation issues arising from a party’s interest in family companies and for parents of parties who have lent their adult children monies and given properties which has later become the subject of dispute during proceedings.

Dennis is a member of the Law Society of New South Wales, and a member of the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia. Dennis is a qualified mediator and also speaks Greek.
